Certifications Less than 5% of Florida's lawyers have earned the certification from the Florida Bar as a specialist in one area of practice. Only one-third of one percent are board certified in two areas of practice.

Reported Cases

Most court cases are settled. Of the cases that are tried, the larger cases may result in appeals. The cases reported in the law books are those where the appellate court writes an opinion so the legal principles decided in the case can serve as precedent for the benefit of other litigants. Robin Gibson has handled a number of important cases at both the trial and the appellate levels.
